Harris and Walz to campaign in Georgia this week
Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz will kick off a series of campaign events in the battleground state of Georgia on Wednesday, the vice president’s office and the Harris campaign announced.
The tour is the latest effort by the Harris campaign to engage with voters in Georgia. The state chose Joe Biden for president in 2020 by a slim margin — the first time the state had backed a Democratic presidential candidate in nearly 30 years.
